Day 1
Depart Australia ⤑ Boston
Day 2-3
Boston
Take a walk along the ‘Freedom Trail’ to listen to the speeches by the Sons of Liberty where they occurred. Visit the Museum of African American History.
Day 4-6
Washington DC
Visit the capital’s most important building and memorials. Stand in the place where Martin Luther King Jr delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. Explore the many Smithsonian Institute museums around the National Mall. Excursion to Mount Vernon to visit the home of George Washington.
Day 7-11
Philadelphia to New York City
Tour the battlefield of Gettysburg, the turning point of the Civil War. See important historical sites in the centre of Philadelphia. Visit the Fraunces Tavern Museum, Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial. Learn about the struggle for civil rights on a walking tour of Harlem. Take a guided tour of the United Nations to learn about the changing world order and search for global security.
