Explore the city’s history – from Nazi totalitarianism, Cold War partition to re-unification. Tour key sites – Wannsee House, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Reichstag Dome, Pergamon and more.
Day 5-6
Nuremberg
Potent symbol of the Third Reich – tour the Parade Grounds Memorial, Documentation Centre and the Palace of Justice incl Courtroom 600 – from war crimes trials to a new international justice framework.
Day 7-8
Munich
Explore the birthplace of Nazi ideology. Visit Dachau - stark reminder of one of the darkest chapters of Germany history.
Day 9-11
Naples
Fly to Naples, jumping off spot for tours of the ancient remains of Pompeii and Herculaneum, cities destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD.
Day 12-13
Rome
The eternal city – tour the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Palatine Hill and other historic landmarks.
