Day 1
Travel Australia ⤑ Tokyo
Day 2-6
Tokyo
Learn about Japan’s role in the Conflict in the Pacific at the Yasukuni Shrine and Military Museum, Center of the Tokyo Raid and War Damages Museum and the Yokoamicho Park and Air Raid Monument. Be immersed in the local culture at the Seno-ji Temple, take in the views from Tokyo Sky Tree and join in the ‘scramble’ at the famous Shibuya crossing.
Day 7-9
Hiroshima
The tragic impact of war is visible at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, where a survivor will speak of their experience during the bombings. Enjoy a visit to the island of Miyajima to enjoy its historic monuments and delightful scenery.
Day 10-12
Osaka
Climb to the top of Osaka Castle and tour the excellent Osaka Peace Center. Enjoy time exploring the Dotonburi district and enhance your knowledge at the Osaka Museum of History. You may also wish to include a visit to Universal Studios as a fun way to end the tour.
