This tour takes students on an immersive journey from rainforests and reefs to the nation’s capital, taking in European and Indigenous perspectives and exploring everything from enviro science & sustainability to robotics, AI, cutting-edge science, maths & technology.

Depart Sydney ⤑ Arrive in Cairns

Day 1-4

Cairns

Fly to Cairns. Explore the rich biodiversity of the Daintree World Heritage area from European and Indigenous perspectives. Become a marine biologist for the day, learning about Great Barrier Reef restoration projects and turtle rehab.

Day 5-6

Townsville

Discover how marine resources are protected through sustainable fishing and aquaculture practices. Go behind the scenes at the Museum of Tropical Queensland to learn about fossils, geology and minerals.

Day 7-9

Melbourne

Get hands-on with robotics, AI, sustainable design & technology. Explore their impact on the nature of work. Learn how robotics links to architecture & construction. Workshop contemporary art, drawing on European & Indigenous traditions.

Day 10-14

Canberra

Workshop Australia’s role in space exploration, astrophysics, sustainability, scientific & technological advances. Learn how artists use different techniques and media to communicate ideas. Tour city sites, kayak the Lake and attend a theatre performance.
