Day 1-3

Auckland

Day 4-6

Waikato & Rotorua regions

Challenge your senses at volcanic and geothermal landmarks and engage with Maori culture. Explore cave systems, glow worms and fossils. Guided tour of Middle Earth at the Hobbiton movie set.

Day 7-8

Wellington

Workshop the planets at Space Place and the natural world at Te Papa. Learn about earthquake-proof structures. See how physical effects and technology combine at the Weta Workshop. City tour and more.

Day 9-10

Blenheim

Learn about the physics of aviation engineering. Explore technologies driving sustainable wine production & travel to Christchurch – seals, dolphins and more.

Day 11-13

Christchurch

Engage with earthquakes and the science of liquefaction. Take workshops on antarctic marine ecosystems, adaptation and conservation efforts. City tour and finish with white-water rafting.
