Day 1-3

Canberra

Discover the stories of Australia at the National Museum and War Memorial.  Focus on sustainability and climate science.

See technology innovations in action.  Explore visual arts.  Star-gaze with astronomers at Mt Stromlo.

Day 3

Cooma

Learn about Snowy Hydro’s role in our renewable energy past and future.

Day 4

Kosciuszko region

Venture into rugged limestone country exploring cave systems and thermal pools.  Then hike the alpine high country.

Day 5

Bega to Bateman’s Bay

Get hands-on with a river estuary restoration project.  Learn about efforts to conserve endangered species after the 2020 bushfires.

Day 6

Jervis Bay

Take a field trip exploring the Bay’s marine estuaries.  Finish with a fun afternoon of paddle-boarding.

Day 7

Bundanon Art Museum/Nowra

Participate in visual arts workshops – individually and in teams.  Understand how landscape influences artistic expression.

Day 8

Nowra

Learn about the impact of the 2020 bushfires on feral animal control
