Ferry, cycle & raft your way around NZ South Island
Tour Highlights
Take the Interislander Ferry from Wellington across Cook Strait and on to Picton.
Explore scenic Abel Tasman National Park – its history, ecology, wildlife and Maori culture. Walk the trails and kayak the park’s sheltered coves and beaches.
Settle in at an outdoor activities centre for three days of hiking, cycling and exciting team and individual activities - from high ropes to archery, water sports to rafting building, abseiling to orienteering.
Learn about recovery efforts aimed at restoring native forests, vegetation and endangered wildlife and volunteer on local conservation programs.
See diverse landscapes from coastal cliffs and rock formations through to the massive limestone outcrops at Castle Hill Reserve.
Cycle historic rail trails and raft the white water at Rangitata.
Finish in Christchurch – engage with NZ’s Antarctic program, visit the Huskie rehabilitation centre, and learn about the impact of earthquakes on the city.
