China Innovation Landscape

  • Guided discussion: Introduction to China’s innovation landscape
    – setting expectations and key questions.

Day 2

University Immersion

  • Campus visit, interacting with local students and mentors to understand how learning systems, expectations, and student behaviours differ across cultures.

  • Explore applied AI and robotics in real learning environments.

Day 3

Engineering Excellence

  • Engage with advanced STEM-focused institutions

  • Experience engineering culture and research environments and explore what it takes to develop technical excellence

  • Interactive sessions on robotics, systems thinking, and applied science.

Day 4

Rocket Lab

  • Introduction to aerospace engineering principles

  • Interactive workshop experiencing engineering as an iterative process of teamwork and problem-solving. Students will design and construct a model rocket including testing, launch and performance evaluation.

Day 5

AI, Robotics & Human Interaction

  • Interactive exposure to AI-driven systems and robotics, exploring how machines interact with the physical world and how humans adapt alongside them.

  • Explore brain–machine interaction concepts and attention systems, with guided interpretation of real-world applications.

Day 6

Culture, Discipline & Reflection

  • Explore traditional disciplines of movement, control and balance with guided physical and cultural practice and reflect on how physical practice may relate to mental focus.

  • Group reflection on the mindset, misconceptions, and lessons experiences on-tour.

Day 7

Depart China ⤑ Arrive in Australia
