Depart Australia ⤑ Arrive in Florence, Italy
Day 2-3
Florence
Delve into the scientific genius of Leonardo da Vinci at the da Vinci Museum and see the prototype machines built according to his designs. Explore the Uffizi Gallery and visit the city’s iconic sites incl Ponte Vecchio. Coach to Geneva.
Day 4
Geneva
Get hands-on with particle physics phenomena and superconductivity at CERN, the world’s largest particle physics laboratory and home to the Hadron Collider.
Day 5
Amsterdam
Fly to Amsterdam. Get the latest in space exploration and the aerospace industry at the European Space & Technology Centre. Cycle the city streets and float on the canals.
Day 6-7
London ⤑ Cambridge
Fly to London, coach to Cambridge. Explore 4.5 billion years and participate in the science museums of Cambridge – Sedgwick, Whipple and the University - incl natural selection highlighting the specimens collected by Darwin.
Day 8-9
Leicester ⤑ Oxford
Grab a workshop at the National Space Centre - from astrobiology to X-ray astronomy, satellites to a simulated space mission. Explore the science and engineering of fusion, and scientific instruments at the Oxford Museum of the History of Science.
Day 10-12
London
Step into 500 years of scientific enquiry at Greenwich. Workshop the scientific research programs at the Natural History Museum, then explore everyday life at the Science Museum and its Wonderlab. Take in London’s iconic sights.
Day 13-14
Depart London ⤑ Arrive in Australia
