Day 1-2
Depart Australia ⤑ Arrive in Munich
Munich
Watch Munich’s famous glockenspiel in action. Tour the solemn Dachau Memorial and reflect on history. Admire the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein.
Day 3-4
Nuremberg
Wander the medieval walled city of Nuremberg and enter Kaiserberg Castle. Learn about the rise and fall of the Third Reich with tours of the Nazi Rally Grounds and Courtroom 600.
Day 5-6
Dresden
Learn about the rebirth of the city of Dresden post WWII on a guided walking tour. Visit the Old Masters Picture Gallery.
Day 8
Berlin
Tour Sanssouci Palace at Potsdam, considered the ‘Versailles’ of Germany. Ascend the Reichstag dome and learn about the city’s history on a guided walking tour. Investigate life under communism at the DDR Museum. Visit the interactive German Spy Museum.
Day 9-11
Cologne
Travel by high speed train to Cologne. Visit its towering cathedral and tour the Lindt Chocolate Factory.
