Lani Blackman
ON-TOUR EDUCATOR
Lani Blackman is an experienced history teacher with a passion for China. Currently Head Teacher HSIE at Narrabeen Sports High School, Lani has championed the teaching of modern China in the Stage 6 syllabus, contributing written chapters to publications and speaking regularly to teachers and students about China through the History Teachers Association of NSW.
She is also the face of the Edrolo topic of the Cultural Revolution to Tiananmen Square. As a keen teacher of Ancient History, Lani has written the chapter on ancient China in the Cambridge Stage 4 History Transformed textbook and would love to see more teachers tackle ancient China in Years 11 and 12.
