This tour immerses students in the economics, legal frameworks and business institutions that shape modern Europe — from EU law-making in Brussels and international diplomacy in The Hague, to global finance in Amsterdam and large-scale industry in Munich.

Students gain firsthand insight into how governments, courts, markets and major companies operate, and how they continue to adapt in a changing world.

Days 1-2

Depart Australia ⤑ Arrive in  Brussels

Brussels

Visit the Living Tomorrow exhibition to discover the future of technical innovations for consumers. Learn about the history of chocolate making in Brussels and try a few samples. Take a guided tour through the European Quarter to learn about the functions of the European Union. Visit the Parlamentarium and participate in a role play on enacting EU legislation.

Days 3-4

The Hague

Attend a talk at the International Court of Justice and tour the Peace Palace. Participate in tailored workshops on multilateral diplomacy and the UN system with visits to relevant international organisations and institutions, UN Career Development Sessions and interactive sessions.

Days 4-5

Amsterdam

Go behind the scenes at the Amsterdam Exchange Experience to discover how the original stock exchange was born. Complete the finance chain with a tour of De Nederlandsche Bank.

Days 6-7

Munich

Fly to Munich and take a guided tour of Olympiapark for an insight into managing a large scale sports venue. Tour the BMW Welt to see its production and manufacturing systems up close.

Days 8-10

Day 11-12

Depart Munich ⤑ Arrive in Australia
