Day 1

Depart Australia ⤑ Arrive in Auckland

Day 1-3

Auckland

Explore traditional and contemporary visual art, drawing on European and Maori traditions. Visit a world-leading sculpture park. Drama & playwriting workshop and a theatre performance.

Day 4-5

Rotorua and surrounds

Get hands-on with Maori traditional crafts - carving and weaving - and explore Middle Earth at the Hobbiton movie set. Go white-water rafting and see geothermal landmarks.

Day 6-10

Wellington

A city brimming with talent – take workshops on creative writing, drama, architecture & sustainable design and step into the magic of film-making & special effects. Explore NZ’s writers focussing on Katherine Mansfield.

Day 11-14

Melbourne and surrounds

Creative arts and design capital – experience dynamic street art and get immersed in workshops on Australian art, stagecraft, film TV and digital media, through to a Writers Victoria workshop. Yarra River cruise and theatre performance.
