NEW - Professional Development Study Tour!

A teacher stands alone inside the ancient inner sanctuary of the Temple of Hathor at Abu Simbel, Egypt, surrounded by carved hieroglyphics and illuminated sandstone walls

We are thrilled to announce that bookings are now open for our inaugural Ancient Egypt Professional Development Study Tour — one of the most extraordinary classroom-enrichment experiences we have ever offered.

This is not a tourist trip to Egypt. It is an immersive, curriculum-linked academic journey led by a local Egyptologist and guided by one of Australia's most respected History teachers — designed specifically for Australian educators who teach Ancient History and want to experience, firsthand, the sites, artefacts and landscapes they teach about.

Participants travel across six extraordinary destinations — Cairo, Minya, Amarna, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel — exploring key archaeological sites and museums that are directly linked to NSW, VCE and QCE Ancient History syllabuses. Every session is designed to deliver fresh research, practical classroom strategies and real-world perspectives that teachers can bring directly back to their students.

Going well beyond typical tourist routes, the program is built around genuine academic depth — uncovering historical evidence, continuity and change, and the relationship between landscape and culture that defines ancient Egyptian civilisation.
