Day 1-4
Auckland
Explore traditional and contemporary visual art, drawing on European and Maori traditions. Visit a world-leading sculpture park. Drama and playwriting workshop and evening performance.
Day 5-6
Rotorua and surrounds
Get hands-on with Maori traditional art forms – carving and weaving - and explore Middle Earth at the Hobbiton movie set. Go white-water rafting and see geothermal landmarks.
Day 7-8
Napier/Hawkes Bay
Explore 1930s Art-Deco architecture and contemporary street art. Attend a workshop on fashion, design and textiles. Cycle the coast and river cycle trails.
Day 9-13
Wellington
A city brimming with talent. Take workshops on creative writing, drama, sculpture, architecture & sustainable design. Step into the magic of film-making, special effects & creative media. Explore NZ’s writers focussing on Katherine Mansfield.
Day 14
Depart Wellington ⤑ Arrive in Australia
